Knowing how to read hangeul comes in handy

The Korean Beauty Gift Set I won from Blancnotes blog giveaway has arrived. Woot woot! Good thing it came today and not yesterday; I was in Manila, getting my TOR.（≧ω≦）

A lot of people (bloggers, beauty gurus) have been raving about Korean brands (beauty products, makeup, etc.). And I have long been admiring the fair, smooth, glowing skin of Korean celebs. That's why I'm so excited to try these!

My first blog giveaway win!

I won!!! I finally won in a blog giveaway raffle/contest/whatever. o(≧▽≦)o 

And true to my k-drama addiction, the said giveaway was about koreanovelas. And the prize, a top of the line Korean Health and Beauty Gift Set. This is fate. =P

A requisite of her giveaway was to share a favorite koreanovela. It was challenging because I wanted to share a lot. And people who know me know that when it comes to k-dramas, I have a lot to say. There also is, oftentimes, some force-feeding involved. After joining her giveaway, I got so hyped up; I even mentioned on twitter that I can set-up a blog just talking about k-dramas, that's how much I love them. And that same day, I ultimately did set up a new blog; this blog.

Thank you, thank you, Ms. Blanca. 감사합니다. I've been joining a lot of giveaways recently but my name just never gets picked, I'm almost starting to lose hope. This changes all that. Your blog will forever hold a special place in my heart. ♥ Aaaw. ｡◕‿◕｡

About Me

Hi! I thought I'd introduce myself in the first post of this new blog. ^.^

I'm a prodigal blogger from the planet earth. I have a variety of interests, some of which I would talk about here. 

The profound: 

I'm an autodidact who loves learning foreign languages. I was a bookworm with a preference for novels about dystopian societies. I am also deeply intrigued by dark matter and blackholes. 

I am also an obsessive-compulsive planner who wishes she had more spunk and spontaneity. I'm a nerd, the bookstore is my heaven. 

I'm neither a rebel nor a deviant, but I do not agree with most social conventions. I hate being dictated by societal protocols.

The superficial: 

I'm a TV show addict. I love US TV series, Korean dramas and variety shows, and KPop. 

I'm also a beauty enthusiast, or as we call it here, 'Kikay'. I love makeup and they say I'm pretty good at it, too. I can spend hours on youtube watching makeup tutorials, hauls, and vlogs. I am obsessed with nail polish/es. I'm always on the lookout for the perfect red polish.

Recently, I've been addicted to promos and giveaways, so there'd probably be a few (ehem) posts about that here. I don't know how long that'll last though. I secretly love pink and purple, but I openly adore red and green.

Lastly, I'm the greatest procrastinator you'll ever meet. The things I mentioned above are the tools I use in my quest to master the art of procrastination. I procrastinate like there's no tomorrow. No, seriously. I am a procrastinator who is procrastinating on writing a thesis about procrastination. My thesis is about procrastination, LOL. I should be working on it right now, but here I am making a blog. Greatest. Procrastinator. Ever. ;-p
